Starting Gate OTTB’s goal is to take horses that were bred to race and teach them a new skill set so they can have a long and productive life. Good behavior comes first, and competitive skills come second. A well-behaved horse is a happy horse and can have a happy owner. What does the full-care boarding package include?
Our full-care option covers roomy stalls with rubber mats, daily stall cleaning, quality hay fed two times daily, individualized grain programs, blanketing, daily turnout, and 24/7 on-site staff monitoring.
How do you handle veterinary or emergency situations?
We maintain close relationships with local veterinarians and farriers. In an emergency, we implement pre-authorized care protocols and notify you immediately, ensuring prompt treatment while keeping you fully informed.
